Staff Accountant (Onsite)
We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Staff Accountant.
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
This job expects to pay about $24 – 29 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Perform month-end and year end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and providing insights to management.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile customer sales orders item discrepancies for Card Printing Services.
- Set up new vendor accounts and maintain vendor account information.
- Set up new customer accounts and maintain customer account information in both Salespad and Great Plains.
- Verify credit references for net-term customers and establish credit limits.
- Review daily invoices and post batch.
- Process inventory adjustments, transfers, cycle counts, and full inventory counts.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Provide support for other financial projects and initiatives as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
