Software Developer, Oracle SFP (Remote)

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in Groovy scripting and SQL (Oracle or MS SQL) to join our client’s team supporting the Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) platform. This role will focus on both development and operational support for Oracle SFP and its integrated applications. Candidates should have a strong understanding of programming, scripting, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Job Title: Software Developer, Oracle SFP
• Location: Remote (U.S. based)
• Duration: 18-month contract with possible extension
• Compensation: This job expects to pay $80-82/hr (W2 or C2C)
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:
• Provide development and operational support for Oracle SFP and associated systems
• Analyze and reverse engineer code, scripts, and processes to identify improvements and automations
• Modify and develop Groovy and SQL configuration scripts
• Create and maintain OIC integrations
• Develop system documentation and operational instructions
• Manage work and system support via Jira tickets
• Collaborate across development, support, and business teams to ensure functionality and performance

What Gets You the Job:
• Proficiency with Groovy scripting and SQL (Oracle or MS SQL)
• Experience in software development and operational/production support
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems and integrations

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Oracle SFP
• Experience with Java and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Familiarity with Oracle BIP, Oracle Fusion framework, and enterprise job schedulers
• Financial Aid system knowledge or Higher Education industry experience
• Experience in production support and incident management
• Tableau development and GitHub usage
• Jira ticketing system experience
• Exposure to Oracle APEX, Oracle ATP, and Oracle BI Enterprise Manager
