Sr Inventory Accountant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Inventory Accountant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and inventory reconciliation, directly contributing to business decisions. - Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid)
- Compensation: 40-50/HR

What You’ll Do:
- Analyze and reconcile inventory variances, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Oversee system interfaces, proactively addressing discrepancies and preparing for monthly close.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track and analyze inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Partner with Fulfillment Center teams to enhance inventory controls and cycle counting compliance.
- Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting to support a seamless monthly close process.
What Gets You the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of inventory accounting experience, with a strong understanding of inventory cost flows.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
