Sr. Project Manager (Remote)
We have an immediate need for a contract Sr. Project Manager.
Location: Remote
This job expects to pay about $75 – 95 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Applies advanced technical project management concepts across industry standard methodologies, best practices and general information technology policies and procedures to manage a complex, cross-functional project
- Assesses current project state continuously to determine best course of action to ensure project progression that meets key stakeholder requirements and expectations
What Gets You The Job:
- Minimum of 7 years hands-on project management experience managing complex, multi-year software development projects with evidence of successful delivery
- High proficiency using Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, ServiceNow, Confluence wiki or similar tools to create and update project schedules demonstrating critical path
- Excellent interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with a broad range of personnel at all levels across an organization with varying level of technical knowledge and/or project management concepts; oral communication and presentation skills sufficient to explain business needs to technical personnel and technical information to business stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience executing various Software/System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including Waterfall/traditional, scrum-Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies
- Experience with/Knowledge of requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and techniques, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, deployment management, sprint and scrum lifecycle implementation and management
- Ability to create realistic project plans and schedules based on quantifiable inputs from key stakeholders and a proven track record of building consensus and resolving conflicts across a large, distributed organization
- Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies, including ability to determine relevance and prioritize activities and tasks
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on project management experience using waterfall/traditional, scrum-Agile/iterative, and hybrid preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, CSM certification, and ITIL certification preferred
