Sr. Analyst, HR and Payroll (Local/Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Sr. Analyst, HR and Payroll. The ideal candidate will have strong Payroll, HR and systems analysis experience, with expertise in U.S. payroll processes, HR benefits, and enterprise ERP systems.

Location: Remote but strongly preferred to be located near Garden Grove, CA.

This job expects to pay about $45 – 68 plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as a liaison between Payroll, HR, and IT teams to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Support payroll processing activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. payroll regulations and HR benefits guidelines.
  • Manage and resolve tickets related to payroll and HR systems, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Work on projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and system integrations.
  • Analyze and optimize payroll and HR processes within the Enterprise ERP system.
  • Work with relational databases to extract, manipulate, and analyze HR and payroll data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and business processes.

What Gets You The Job:

  • Strong background in U.S. payroll processing, HR benefits, and compliance (5+ years)
  • Experience with enterprise ERP systems (Coins ERP experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Experience working with relational databases for data retrieval and analysis.
  • IT systems aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot, configure, and enhance system capabilities (HRIS)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the construction industry or with construction-specific ERP systems.
  • Previous experience working on acquisitions or system migrations.
