Database Administrator (Onsite)
We have an immediate need for a direct hire Database Administrator to join our client, a global leader in the automotive aftermarket. The Database Administrator will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the company’s databases across development, testing, and production environments.
Location: Oceanside, CA (Onsite)
This job expects to pay about $94,000-120,000 annually plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Architect and implement a data warehouse solution
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ensure performance and security of data warehouse for both on-prem MS SQL and Azure SQL
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data governance and validation.
- Develop and test effective backup and recovery for data warehouse including building fault tolerant ETLs
- Optimize data warehouse/data marts for performance and scale
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4-7 years of experience in database administration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL/Azure SQL skills and related tools
- Advanced experience with PL-SQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases
- Experience with on-prem and cloud transformation tools (SSIS, Data Factory, Data Bricks, etc)
- Experience with development tools such as .NET and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and others
- Experience with SSRS and other reporting and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Experience with performance and ERD tools (RedGate, DPA, Erwin, etc)
- Excellent designing and maintaining Datawarehouse
