Full Stack Engineer II (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Full Stack Engineer II to join our client, a premier management consulting firm.

Location: Remote working Eastern Time Zone hours.

This job expects to pay about $65 – 75 plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform the transformation, filtering, and aggregation of raw data into concise, accurate, and focused data formats
  • Interact with business users.
  • Integrate cloud, data streaming, mobile apps, meta data automation, big data platform and artificial intelligence to deliver real time solutions to enhance customer acquisition, fraud detection, customer services, etc.
  • Perform coding and configuration of applications based on instructions and specifications.

What Gets You The Job:

  • Experience as a Software Engineer (5 years minimum experience preferably)
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Expertise with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL or cloud equivalent such as Amazon RDS
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
  • Proficiency in using AWS cloud platform for deploying and managing applications.
  • Familiarity with GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
  • Experience with the Slack app platform for application development and management.
  • Knowledge of containerization
  • Strong conceptual problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding the basic of GenAI required
  • Experience preferred in cloud/big data environment.
  • Experience with SQL and non-SQL environments (Spark preferred).
  • Understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Service Oriented, Microservices, and Containers.
  • Expert understanding of PHP, Python, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
