Manager, PMO (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a contract Manager, Project Management Office to join a healthcare client in Orange County. The Manager, Project Management Office is responsible for aligning the activities of the department with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Location: Orange, CA (Hybrid)
This job expects to pay about $100 – 120 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Develops and maintains relationships with all Departments, other Healthcare of California entities, Physicians, and all other appropriate external entities.
- Maintains a high level of customer service and manages the reality and perception of service levels provided to customers.
- Provides effective management of the daily operations for project management and technical integration.
- Will provide development and management of capital budget, recruitment, staffing, productivity, performance reviews, quality customer service, education, Project Management leadership, and team leadership.
- Responsible for evaluation and analysis, resource allocation, management of existing systems, strategic planning for new projects, and project tracking.
What Gets You The Job:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Information systems, Health Data Management or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree.
- Required: Project management principles, budget management principles and recruitment/retention strategies.
- Preferred: MS Project, management of operational and capital budgets, employee relations.
- Required: Minimum three (3) years of related professional experience. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Preferred: Five (5) years of healthcare related experience. One (1) year of supervisory and project management experience with IT personnel, PMP Certified.
- Required: Ability to lead and manage set-ups, major moves, and clinical implementation projects. Experienced recruiter of IT staff. Ability to develop and project budgets. Verbal and written communication, project management, and computer skills. Excellent analytical and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Microsoft Project, Help Desk application. Industry standard certifications.
