Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst to support a large convenience retailer that has been in business for over 60 years! This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a new team focused on building out merchandising efforts and building new technologies.
Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, North Carolina
This Job Pays: $65-72/hour + Benefits
What You Will Do:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors, to gather and define requirements.
- Facilitate discussions to align business needs with technical solutions, ensuring clarity and understanding across teams.
- Analyze and document existing and future-state business processes related to merchandising, item lifecycle, pricing lifecycle, and pricing management.
- Support integration efforts between existing merchandising portals and new solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Create detailed documentation, including workflows, process maps, and technical requirements using tools like Lucid, JIRA, Confluence, and Slack/Teams for collaboration.
- Serve as the go-to expert on systems functionality, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with technical teams to design and implement system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to ensure stakeholders understand system functionality and workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements in a rapidly evolving environment.
What Gets You The Job:
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in merchandising and retail environments (highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of IT systems, business processes, modeling tools and integration concepts.
- Proficiency with tools like Lucid, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience with pricing management, item lifecycle, and pricing lifecycle systems.
- Familiarity with retail merchandising portals and integration of existing and new solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with UML
