Network Administrator – Cloud (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with cloud experience to join our client, a successful non-profit healthcare organization to manage and support their network infrastructure and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our Azure-based cloud services while also supporting on-prem systems and help desk operations.

 

Location: Los Angeles (3+ days a week onsite)

This is a full-time role, paid hourly plus benefits. The expected pay rate is about $42-52/hour W2

 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s Azure cloud infrastructure and on-prem systems during the migration process.
  • Support the network, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access using OKTA for Active Directory integration.
  • Oversee the organization’s use of SharePoint, Teams, and Security & Compliance portal to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network and cloud environments, addressing issues proactively.
  • Implement security measures and perform regular assessments to protect against potential cyber threats.
  • Automate tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell or others (Python, C#) to improve efficiency.

What Gets You The Job:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on cloud (Azure preferred, but other cloud experience is acceptable).
  • Experience managing virtual machines in Azure, with an understanding of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, etc.)
  • Experience with OKTA and/or Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Teams, and security portals within a Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, PowerApps, Python, or C# are highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with both cloud and on-prem networks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving technical needs and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
