Our client, a top-tier hospitality organization known for delivering extraordinary, high-end experiences, is looking for someone like you to step into a leadership role. As the Director of Cybersecurity Operations, you’ll manage day-to-day SOC activities, guide a talented team, and champion cutting-edge threat detection and response solutions—all while working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
Location: Onsite 5 days (with some flexibility) in Las Vegas, NV
This full-time role is expected to pay about $120-140k annually plus bonus and benefits
What You Will Do:
- Implement and continuously improve cyber monitoring systems like SIEM, xSoar, and NGFW.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Develop and refine incident response procedures, playbooks, and workflows.
- Establish and monitor Key Risk Indicators for potential security risks, performing analysis as needed.
- Configure and optimize security tools to maximize effectiveness against cyber threats.
- Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices through intelligence sources and research.
- Manage key cybersecurity recovery platforms, including response and remediation planning.
What Gets You The Job:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT security, with casino experience preferred.
- Expertise in security technologies like SIEM, IDS/IPS, NGFW firewalls, and network security tools.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network fundamentals.
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), databases, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Strong familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, PCI, CIS Controls).
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
