Business Analyst (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Business Analyst to join a premier management consulting firm. The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding business objectives and requirements and will work with both business stakeholders and IT teams to develop and implement effective solutions.

Location: Remote

This job expects to pay about $45 – 50 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do: 

  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Gather comprehensive and organized inventory of data assets within business applications.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of new systems and processes, ensuring they meet the specified requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems.
  • Use case diagrams, Business requirements documentations, Data documentation, data flows, data catalog, process flow diagrams.

What Gets You The Job: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
  • Functional experience in manual feature testing for Corporate HR, Corporate Finance, or Staffing applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with business analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or similar.
  • Understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and software development lifecycle.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, data concepts, integration concepts, and relevant software and tools (e.g., JIRA, SAP, Snowflake, Integration, ETL, Tableau Reports, Glue).
