We are looking for a dynamic Application Development & Management Leader to revolutionize a diverse portfolio of internal projects and products. If you’re a tech-savvy visionary with a flair for change management, this is your chance to make a significant impact!

Location: Orange County, CA (Onsite 3 days a week)

Compensation: This full-time role is expected to pay a base salary of around $200-275k annually based on skills and experience. The compensation plan includes a bonus, very strong benefits plan, and relocation assistance if needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and inspire a talented team of 30 software professionals, driving performance and growth.
  • Transform and innovate while overseeing a broad array of projects and products, aligning them with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Lead a strategic overhaul by developing and implementing a plan to tackle technical debt, streamline outdated processes, and boost collaboration across the organization.
  • Elevate project efficiency by implementing and enhancing Agile methodologies across the enterprise.
  • Guide the re-architecture of outdated applications, ensuring a seamless transition to cutting-edge technologies.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by setting and tracking performance metrics while striving for continuous improvement.
  • Articulate technical concepts and project status effectively to executives and stakeholders.

What Gets You The Job: 

  • Proven leadership experience in managing a large portfolio of application development projects and teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of architecture and technology trends, particularly within a Microsoft .Net Platform environment (on-premises and Azure).
  • Strong background in change management and process improvement, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Solid experience with enterprise systems (Salesforce preferred) and systems integration.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical information to executive audiences.
  • Experience in the higher education industry is highly desirable.
