Operations Business Analyst II (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Operations Business Analyst II to join a world-class academic medical center. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis, project coordination, and proficiency in utilizing tools such as ServiceNow for report writing and support. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, analytical prowess, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote working Pacific hours)

This job expects to pay about $40 – 45 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Utilize ServiceNow report writing tool to create and maintain reports, providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Serve as a liaison between various departments, facilitating communication and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Leverage expertise in MS Office suite to develop and maintain departmental templates, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, and integration from multiple sources.
  • Maintain and support ServiceNow platform, addressing user queries and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Actively participate in the maintenance of departmental SharePoint site content.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

What Gets You The Job: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Office Management.
  • Proven experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow report writing tool and supporting ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and thoughtful approach to assignments.
  • Self-motivated individual who can take initiative and drive projects to completion.
  • Experience with general departmental SharePoint site content maintenance.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, hospital, or health system settings.
