We have an immediate need for a Lead Applications Engineer to join a healthcare organization. The Lead Applications Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in a multi-disciplinary team where they will lead and perform high level analysis and programming in the selection, planning and implementation of new or upgraded applications.

Location: Remote (Must be within 2-4 hours of Cincinnati, OH)

This Job Pays: $105-$125K per year

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for leading program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Responsible for leading specifications and managing customer needs of assigned applications from which programs will be written and processes are followed to ensure maximum utilization of automation, system availability and system governance.
  • Perform high quality definition, analysis, design, programming functions and documentation for assigned projects and requests.
  • Ensure that project solutions – designs, requests for proposal, system acquisition and modification, etc.- meet the goals and objectives of the requesting department.
  • Support departmental and organizational processes including customer support and problem resolution in a timely manner to ensure maximum system availability. Provide appropriate escalation of critical issues as necessary.
  • Work with other Information Systems teams, operational liaisons, and the customer to ensure the performance of underlying technical infrastructure and software utilization.
  • Provide leadership to ensure project tasks are completed accurately and within the time estimated from the project schedule or scheduled completion date of request.
  • Serve as a mentor, assisting in the growth and development of team members.

What Gets You The Job: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or relevant fields of study.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Must have strong experience with ServiceNow Administration, MS SQL Server DML, and ETL.
  • Proven experience with vendor application lifecycle management.
  • Prior experience with clinical application management and support.
  • Must be flexible/adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
