Sr. Manager, Information Technology (Hybrid)

We have an immediate need for a Sr. Manager, Information Technology to join an international law firm. The Sr. Manager, Information Technology will work closely with the firm’s Chief Information Officer to design, plan, and integrate the primary services and applications used by the firm.

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA or Century City, CA (Hybrid)

This job expects to pay about $150,000 – 182,000 annually.

What You Will Do: 

  • Works closely with application owners and other IT stakeholders to provide guidance and oversight on existing and new technologies.
  • Be proactive in researching IT industry and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise and relation to future operations and project needs.
  • Analyze the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Assist the CIO in the management of the day-to-day operations of the IT department.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Proven ability and comfort in facilitating deep technical reviews with IT organizations and building a trusted relationship with the CIO and IT Management team.
  • Understand business objectives, research potential strategies, architect, and design solutions.

What Gets You The Job: 

  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience with comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering in at least two (2) IT disciplines (such as strategic planning, solution architecture, technology architecture, network management, security management, change management, application development, middleware design, information analysis, database management, project management and operations management).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Major (if applicable): Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • License and Certification Preferred: PMP, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco and other enterprise technology certifications.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, systems design, and integration.
  • Ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking).
  • Knowledge of multiple components of enterprise architecture and applications used in a law firm.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes and as well as SLAs used to monitor systems and performance.
