Technical Support Technician (Onsite)

We have an immediate need for a Technical Support Technician to join a home remodeling products manufacturing company for a full-time, permanent position. The Technical Support Technician is responsible for the day-to-day technical support of client platform technologies, including maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, wireless devices, software applications and hardware peripherals.

Location: Warminster, PA (Onsite)

This job expects to pay about $60,000 – $62,000 annually.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for overall activities of Service Desk and Incident Management Process; working with others to ensure timely and accurate resolutions of problems and requests.
  • Maintains IT equipment in office and manufacturing environments.
  • Implements and maintains the file system permissions and security group memberships.
  • Manages directory services users accounts and access permissions based on corporate policies.
  • Supports end-user’s IP telephony needs.
  • Implement a culture focused on continual improvement with strong collaboration with internal support teams and the Service Desk.
  • Acts as a liaison between the internal customer and IT department.
  • Works with IT management, location management and corporate management to determine appropriate system solutions to local problems.
  • Travels to support locations, where appropriate, on a regular basis to resolve their technical needs.

What Gets You The Job: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent from an accredited college or university is desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology, with 3+ years of detailed Desktop, network, Active Directory, servers, troubleshooting responsibilities is required.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems, and desktop applications and tools.
  • Ability to maintain IT policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and the associated network protocols and concepts.
  • 3+ years experience administering a Microsoft Server environment is a plus
  • 3+ years experience administering a network infrastructure environment
