Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a Site Reliability Engineer to join a healthcare finance technology organization. The Site Reliability Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our systems by proactively identifying and resolving issues in our Azure-based applications and services.
Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid)
This Job Pays: $110,000 – 135,000 annually
What You Will Do:
- Implement, manage, and fine-tune monitoring systems and tools to proactively identify and resolve issues in Azure-based applications.
- Develop custom monitoring solutions and dashboards using Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and other relevant tools.
- Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Azure App Service architecture to optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Configure and maintain Azure App Service environments for various applications.
- Utilize Azure App Services Diagnose and Troubleshoot Tools to diagnose and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
- Work with Azure Kudu Tools to inspect and manage application deployments and infrastructure settings.
- Leverage PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks related to monitoring and debugging.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to understand application requirements and design monitoring solutions.
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with a strong emphasis on monitoring and debugging.
- Extensive experience working with Azure services, particularly Azure App Service, Azure Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
- Proficiency in using Azure App Services Diagnose and Troubleshoot Tools and Azure Kudu Tools.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell for automation.
- Optional: Experience with Dynatrace or other Application Performance Monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Azure certifications are a plus.
