Sr. Network Systems Engineer (Remote)
We have an immediate need for an Sr. Network Systems Engineer to join a leading foodservice organization. The Sr. Network Systems Engineer is responsible for oversight, design, implementation, and maintenance responsibilities for all of the organization’s network infrastructure.
Location: Remote
This Job Pays: $99,000 – 176,000 annually
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for all network components including routers, switch devices, WAN fabric, SDWAN connectivity and WiFi equipment.
- Perform daily assessment of network health, ensuring stable connectivity to all plants and remote sites. Actively monitor network/system components for IT and OT connected devices.
- Execute Performance tuning, capacity planning and performance reporting on multiple platforms.
- Provides level 2 / 3 support for system issues and be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues using industry standard tools and processes.
- Successfully presents technical information in required formats including network documentation, diagrams, configurations as related supporting artifacts.
- Provide backup support for the Principle Network Engineer
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
- 5-10 years related equivilent field service experience preferred
- Knowledge of Security principles and familiarity with firewalls required
- Certification or qualifications such as a Cisco CCNP, Palo Alto certifications or other qualified advanced network certifications preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities with specific OT related system(s) knowledge a plus. (SCADA, IIoT, etc.) preferred
