Developer Software Principal III (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a Developer Software Principal III to join a premier provider of casino gaming content and products. The Developer Software Principal III leads the creation of architectural guidelines and incorporates industry best practices and innovations when developing products.
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid)
This Job Pays: $155,000 – 175,000 annually
What You Will Do:
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in creating and implementing process improvement activities and monitors process adherence.
- Designs, develops, and modifies complex quality software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques.
- Leads identification and creation of shareable solutions with cross functional teams which improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
- Communicates progress to leadership, escalates concerns, anticipates roadblocks, and implements solutions.
- Mentors and leads technical activities.
- Identifies assignments based on general guidance and by examining industry trends and best practices.
- Leads creative problem solving and participates in product design.
- Actively participates in code validation and code reviews.
- Assists in preparing project estimates and provides feedback on less experienced team members.
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
- 8-12+ years’ experience designing, modifying, and developing software programming applications.
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of product pipeline, software tools, and processes surrounding it.
- Demonstrated success identifying and executing process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of software development practices, such as software development life cycle (SDLC), agile software development, feature driven development, or other similar processes.
- Demonstrated advanced coding ability.
- Demonstrated advanced understanding and practical application of object-oriented modeling, design, and development.
- Advanced understanding of design patterns.
