IT Manufacturing Business Relationship Manager (Remote)
We have an immediate need for an IT Manufacturing Business Relationship Manager to join a premier distributor of automotive oils, chemicals, and consumable products. The IT Manufacturing Business Relationship Manager will act as a strategic partner between the IT department and the manufacturing function, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Location: Remote
This Job Pays: $120,000 – 140,000 annually
What You Will Do:
- Business Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the manufacturing function, including engineering, operations, quality, regulatory and environmental, health and safety. Understand their business needs, goals, and challenges, and translate them into technology opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to develop an IT strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy and supports manufacturing initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and leverage technology to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Create and maintain a 3-year technology roadmap that aligns business capability gaps and current technology health to future technology investments.
- Demand Management: Partner with Manufacturing leadership to create and maintain a prioritized portfolio of technology projects that have a well-defined business case that provides a maximum return on investment.
- Solution Design and Evaluation: Collaborate with the IT team to design and evaluate technology solutions that address the identified business needs and requirements. Ensure that solutions are aligned with industry best practices, scalability, security, and compliance standards.
- Service Management: Partners with internal IT and manufacturing leadership to manage service level expectations, ensure service delivery and improve service delivery performance. Escalates issues to IT and manufacturing management as needed. Provides regular status reporting and business insights to Leadership.
- Governance: Represent the manufacturing leadership in internal IT processes requiring business signoff or approvals. Ensure internal IT teams are meeting defined service level agreements (SLA’s)
What Gets You The Job:
- 3-5 years IT & manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Strong PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with others and coordinate time sensitive, cross functional requests
