Jira Engineer

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Jira Configuration and customization. As a Jira Engineer, you will work with our team to gather requirements from the end client and walk us through Jira options and plug-ins that can help us make final technical decisions. You will also be responsible for the implementation of these decisions.

Location: Remote (United States) – MUST work CST hour

This Job Pays: $70-$80/hr (w2 basis)

Contract – 6-9 months

What You Will Do:

• Configure Jira to meet the needs of the end client
• Optimize Jira by collecting information from the end client
• Customize the “plumbing” of the Jira tool
• Work with the team to gather requirements from the end client
• Walk the team through Jira options and plug-ins that can help make final technical decisions
• Implement the final decisions

What Gets You The Job: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required
• Strong Jira experience
• Excellent knowledge of Jira configuration and customization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
