Sr. Technical Analyst – Law Enforcement Systems (Hybrid)

We have an immediate need for a Sr. Technical Analyst to support applications and technology used by law enforcement professionals in a local municipality.  The ideal candidate will possess experience with mobile and desktop computer hardware, operating systems, desktop applications, peripherals, and enterprise network access control in a government setting. 

Location: Fullerton, CA (Hybrid)

This Job Pays: $117,000 – 135,000 annually

What You Will Do:

• Provide specialized technical work in support of networks, servers, systems and/or applications; remediates software and hardware problems for users remotely and in person
• Conduct various tests on components, equipment, and software during installation to ensure components are working properly and in accordance with City specifications
• Provide assistance in the installation, configuration, performance monitoring, testing and/or troubleshooting of assigned technology systems and equipment
• Receive, prioritize, and respond to technical support calls and request; maintain accurate documentation; create, update, and close tickets using the Jira platform in a timely manner; creates knowledge base and frequently asked questions documentation; may coordinate with vendors or other staff for required services and issue resolution
• Update and maintain technical documentation regarding specifications, system settings, accounts, procedures, plans and/or schedules; provide basic user training and update support documentation

What Gets You The Job: 

• Four years of experience utilizing the fundamentals of typical computer systems, operating systems, applications, and peripherals, two years of which must have included IT work experience in a hands-on or remote end-user technical support environment
• CompTIA Certification
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Experience working with an IT department in a local government setting
• Experience working with a law enforcement department
