Sr. Software Developer (.Net/C#) (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (.NET/C#) to join a financial services company for an 100% remote position that is contract to hire (direct hire is a potential for the right candidate). This Senior Software Developer be designing, analyzing, developing, coding, and testing software on the full-stack, with C#, MVC, APIs, Angular4+ and SQL Server. 

What You Will Do:

• Help define and build new features or applications based on technology and business needs.
• Write structured, tested, readable and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to the Software Application Development team members when appropriate
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Troubleshoots business and production issues

What Gets You The Job:

• Possess expert knowledge in performance, security, scalability, architecture, and best practices
• Strong proficiency in C#
• Good experience with full-stack .NET Development
• Hands-on knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, WCF, T-SQL and LINQ
• Strong expertise in web application architecture, design patterns, and experience implementing RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of Javascript, jQuery, and other popular libraries, with working knowledge of AngularJS 4+
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3, and Route53), cloud infrastructure architecture, monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. DataDog, New Relic, Airbrake, PagerDuty)
• Experience with Git and Gitflow branching strategies, rebasing and advanced branch management
